In 2012, I was living in Brooklyn, working in Manhattan at a tech startup, 12 hours a day, selling ad space and basically hating my life.
It totally sucked.
They would give me raises and never actually promote me. So even with more money, I was still doing the same role day after day, calling businesses, hearing the word “no” more than “yes,” trying my hardest to match up with the men in the office as one of the few women.
I was so stressed. I was either closing deals or hanging with the guys and drinking whiskey, even though I hated the taste of it, just because that’s what they drank.
I was desperately trying to fit in. But deep down, I was feeling lost, uninspired, and extremely exhausted.
I had a gym membership that was unused, and instead of getting my health together, I was sitting at a desk for 12 hours and eating out for lunch every day.
I bought tons of books to “change my life” but never read them because I had no time to read them.
I dreamt of traveling and getting out of the city where I had lived my entire life.
I dreamt of freedom, inspiration, and finding my purpose.
But I didn’t know how to get out of it. I didn’t know how to break the barrier from miserable to empowered.
Then one day, I arrived one minute late to work and was called into the conference room. My boss was upset that I was one MINUTE late. It was insane!
Forget my years of service. Forget my hundreds of sales or great customer relationships. No, he was upset that I was one minute late. That was the last straw for me.
I had had enough.
I was done pretending to like whiskey. I was done working 12 hours a day with nothing to show for it.
I was done feeling miserable.
I was ready to take full control of my life. I was ready to take the leap.
Which is exactly what I did.
I didn’t know what was going to happen, but I knew that I was meant for something greater.
I broke free.
Instead of working for someone else, I started to work for me.
Instead of having someone else making my decisions, I started to make my own.
With the help of a mentor, I began to understand how I could break free from the chains holding me back.
It was liberating and exhilarating.
From then on, I studied hundreds of books and learned from some of the world’s most respected experts on love, relationships, human connection, intimacy, and communication.
I also attended countless workshops and retreats.
For 3 years, I was mentored by a guru on how to declutter my life, drop negative habits and thoughts, work through my past, and pull back every single layer of armor that I had created around myself to reveal my truth, my vulnerability, my full authenticity, and my ability to love deeply.
And now, I want to use all of that to help you.
Now it’s your turn and your time to break free.
